The renovation of the dock door of the Maeslantkering is an impressive feat of engineering in which timing, precision and craftsmanship come together. For QuickWorks the challenge to visually capture this complete process in a powerful film report that makes the story behind the work tangible.
During the renovation, we follow the entire process. From dismantling and lifting the huge frame to loading, transporting and working at Hollandia Services. Also the reinstallation of the renewed parts and the moment when everything is tightly back in place are important parts within the production.
In addition to the approximately 5-minute final video, we capture various moments along the way that can be used for communication and progress updates. This creates not only a final film, but a complete content registration of a special infrastructural project commissioned by Rijkswaterstaat.
